Graduate Learning Mentor Wandsworth September 2025 Start Location: Wandsworth, South West London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE) Interviews: June/July 2025 Are you a graduate with a passion for helping young people looking to start as a Graduate Learning Mentor this September? A friendly secondary school in Wandsworth is looking to recruit a Graduate Learning Mentor to support pupils across a range of subjects. This Graduate Learning Mentor role is ideal for graduates interested in gaining classroom experience before teacher training or a PGCE. In this Graduate Learning Mentor role, youll support pupils with their learning and behaviour, run academic interventions, and assist teachers with lesson preparation and resource organisation. Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils in lessons and providing additional learning support Running small group and 1:1 academic and behavioural interventions Assisting teachers with lesson resources and classroom management Monitoring pupil progress and supporting their personal development Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning Were looking for: A 2:1 or above in any degree subject Strong communication and interpersonal skills An interest in education and supporting young people Commitment to the full academic year Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Masters. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or settled status.
