Job Description

AIS is looking for a HR Coordinator to support the day to day running of HR operations. Due to the nature of the business, this is an office-based role at our Skelmersdale facility. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced or aspiring HR generalist looking to develop and progress in their career by being exposed to a variety of HR duties in a growing global business. What will you do as our HR Coordinator? * Completing all administrative HR processes in a timely and efficient manner, including scanning and filing of all employee documentation * Liaise with managers on recruitment-related activities, including drafting adverts and job descriptions, arranging and assisting with interviews and liaising with agencies * Coordinate the onboarding process including producing offer letters, contracts, right to work, and induction of new starters * Supporting on various employee relation projects including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and training and development * Support long-term absence cases, organising occupational health referrals and return to work arrangements * Use and maintain the HRIS (Iris Cascade) including data input, managing workflow processes, extracting reports and analysing data * Support any project-related work in collaboration with senior HR team members * Assisting with company benefits administration * Liaising with the payroll team to ensure enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and payroll changes are processed within the correct pay period What are we looking for in our HR Coordinator? * Previous HR generalist experience (or similar), ideally within the private sector * Enthusiasm for the HR profession as well as a flexible attitude * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business * Knowledge of UK employment legislation * Ability and willingness to travel to other Company’s locations * Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in an ever changing environment * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications * Great attention to detail and strong organisation skills * Experience working with Iris Cascade HR, payroll, and recruitment would be beneficial Benefits of becoming our HR Coordinator: * Basic annual salary of up to £30,000.00 per annum * Discretionary bonus scheme of up to 15% of annual salary * Up to 6% pension contributions (matched) * 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays * Support in gaining CIPD qualifications (to be agreed upon successful completion of probationary period) * Life insurance 4x annual salary * Comprehensive employee assistance programme including 24/7 GP, unlimited mental health support and legal consultations * Access to leisure benefits, including a cycle to work scheme * Our standard working hours are Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm and Friday 8.30am-4.00pm
