Food Picking Operative

Food Picking Operative We are currently looking for food picking operatives to join this ever-growing team based in YO43 Due to the nature of the food excellent attention to detail is required while adhering to all health and safety. Duties will include but not limited to * Work as part of the team to ensure picking targets are achieved each day/week. * Ensure that all Hygiene and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed. * Ensure that the growing houses and other linked areas are kept clean and tidy, always. Using a ‘clean as you go’ rule. * Ensure picking quality and quantity to minimum 25kg per hour. * Quality – ensure all food picked is to the correct standard. Hours of work * Circa of 40 hours per week. * Rota basis 5 days per week to include weekend work Saturday – Friday am / am – pm/ pm. flexibility during audits and customer technical audits and visits and peak seasons. * 1 half hour for lunch, & two 15min breaks morning & afternoon [1hr unpaid break] No previous experience needed. Just need to be willing to do the role and be very flexible for weekends Basic pay £12.21ph KPI driven bonus (can earn £15.00 - £18.00ph) This role is working on the basis of ending the 12 weeks with a permanent contract – very real progression opportunities available.
