Business Development Manager (Part-time)

I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing, privately-run domiciliary care service based in Northampton that is seeking a part-time Business Development Manager to join their close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded and confident in working remotely. What’s on offer: £24,000-£27,000. 28 days’ annual leave. Remote working model with flexibility. Bonus scheme. Supportive Directors with years of care sector experience. Hours: 20 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Building relationships with local authorities, including commissioners and procurement leads, to generate spot and contract opportunities. Growing the private client base through local marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives. Increasing brand awareness and visibility within the local area through attending community events. Developing and maintaining referral networks with GPs, hospital discharge teams, social prescribers, and voluntary sector organisations. Supporting the Directors with expressions of interest, framework applications, and tender submissions. Tracking lead generation and conversion rates to support data-driven decision-making. Registered Manager Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in domiciliary care. A self-starter who can work autonomously, prioritising effectively and delivering results. Strong understanding of both local authority commissioning and private care marketing. Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
