Programme Manager Location: Civic Campus, Euclid Street, SN1 2JG Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 8 Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 57.02 per hour Job Ref: OR9544 Responsibilities Lead the Local Authority Change Partnership Programme, ensuring the successful implementation of the Local Authority project plan. Maintain regular liaison and reporting with the Department for Education (DfE). Provide strategic leadership to the SEND operational team, driving the development and enhancement of strategic SEND practice across the Local Authority. Ensure effective change management and continuous improvement within the SEND service. Person Specification Proven experience in leading complex change programmes, preferably within a local authority or educational setting. Strong strategic leadership skills, with the ability to drive development and enhancement of practices. Excellent communication and liaison skills, particularly in maintaining relationships with governmental departments. Demonstrated ability in change management and fostering continuous improvement.
