Job Description

CSS Recruitment are looking for a Planner in Folkestone, Kent. On behalf of a well established civil engineering main contractor, we are looking for a planner who has site experience, involving planning and managing civil engineering projects. Site based and/regional office-based role focusing on works in Kent and Sussex, this role requires travel to sites in the southeast region. May suit who has reached Senior Engineer / Sub Agent level who possesses planning expertise and wants to focus more on this technical role moving forward. Looking for a candidate from a site background as this role involves using your site experience to provide support to sites teams in, finding solutions to engineering problems, ensuring that project programmes are current, consistent and accurate by regular interface with the project site management and relevant regional management team. The primary role is to prepare and communicate project programmes and to manage change on the programmes in accordance with the NEC contract requirements Requirements: - Proficient as a user of ASTA Powerproject and good working understanding of the NEC Forms of Contract. - Desired if have experience using of Microsoft Project an Primavera P6. - Experience working on civil engineering sites with an engineering or site management background. - Good communication skills - Site experience - Full UK driving licence - Eligable to work in the UK.
