Who You Are You are a qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration and a strong commitment to professional development. You have significant experience in social work, including direct work with children, families, and adults with Learning Disabilities. Your professional approach centers on safeguarding, promoting independence, and achieving positive outcomes. Your background equips you to operate within a systemic framework, undertake assessments, and develop support plans tailored to individual needs. What the Job Involves This role involves providing a comprehensive and integrated social work service for children, young people, and adults with Learning Disabilities and other disabilities. You will be responsible for conducting strength-based assessments, developing outcome-focused support plans, and delivering targeted interventions. You'll manage a caseload across children's and adults' cases, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to safeguarding efforts. The role also requires documenting and reporting on cases, liaising with partners, and staying informed about legislative and sector developments. Skills Knowledge of legislation and safeguarding practices Experience with multidisciplinary assessments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and report writing Proven organizational and time management Familiarity with diverse communities and equality issues Computer literacy for case management systems
