Trainee Logistics Administrator Colnbrook, Berkshire £23,000 – £24,000 per annum Due to the location, own transport is essential Looking to start your career in logistics and freight forwarding? We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Import Clerk to join our busy and friendly team in Colnbrook. This is a great entry-level role for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of international logistics. What you'll be doing: Answering phones and liaising with customers Arranging airline collections and deliveries Planning import routings and overseas collections Preparing import-rated airwaybills and simple quotations Checking import licences, tariffs, CPC codes, and customs authorisations Filing documentation and assisting with occasional invoicing Supporting customs entries using ASM/Gems/Sequoia Assisting with customs post-entry submissions and reclaims What we’re looking for: A confident communicator with good phone manner Organised, reliable and eager to learn Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Strong attention to detail and good judgement Any experience with customs entries or import classification is a plus – but not essential. Training will be provided This role is ideal for someone looking to gain solid experience in the freight forwarding industry with practical, hands-on training from day one.
