Area Sales Manager – Conveyor Belting & Automation Solutions

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a well-established region and play a key role in developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering real value to clients across the Northwest. The Role * Manage and grow a portfolio of OEMs, End Users, and Distribution partners across the M62 corridor * Deliver tailored solutions in conveyor systems, modular belting, and automation support products * Drive new business development through prospecting, networking, and strategic targeting * Support clients technically and commercially, understanding their operational challenges and aligning product offerings accordingly * Work closely with internal stakeholders including applications engineers, product managers, and customer service teams * Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM data, tracking pipeline activity and reporting to senior management What We’re Looking For * Proven background in external sales within the industrial, mechanical, or automation sectors * Experience selling into OEMs, End Users, or Distribution – ideally in belting,chain, motion systems, plastics, or engineered components * Technically credible – able to understand mechanical applications and work consultatively with clients * Self-sufficient and proactive – used to managing a territory and building relationships across various sectors * Located in the Northwest or along the M62 corridor, with the flexibility to travel across the region Why Apply?
