Job Description

Our Rushden based Client is urgently looking for a competent Credit Controller to assist them for a period of 3- 4 months on a Temporary basis Pay will be based on a salary of £30-35k (£15.00 - £17.95 per hour) Full time Monday to Friday 37.5 Hrs per week As a Credit Controller you will be managing and maintaining the company's credit and collections process to ensure timely payments from customers while minimising financial risk. This role involves assessing credit applications, setting credit limits, monitoring outstanding debts, and taking appropriate actions to recover overdue payments. You will have ideally worked in a similar Credit Control role previously and have immediate availability to start this position. Duties will include Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions related to credit control. Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms Assessing and approve new credit applications, setting appropriate credit limits based on company policies. Chasing outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence to reduce aged debt. Investigating and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes efficiently. Preparing regular reports on debtor balances, overdue accounts, and credit risk analysis. Working closely with sales and finance teams to manage credit risks and resolve account issues.
