About the Role: As Farm Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall operation of a broiler farm, ensuring performance, productivity, and compliance are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll lead from the front, managing farm operations and your team to produce birds that meet strict welfare and quality standards – all while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities: * Lead daily operations on the broiler farm, managing both people and processes * Ensure top-level bird welfare, maintaining optimal conditions for ventilation, feed, water, and lighting * Uphold biosecurity measures and ensure full compliance with company and industry standards * Complete and manage all farm paperwork, audits, and reporting requirements * Manage and train staff, providing direction, performance feedback, and ongoing support * Respond to farm alarms, maintain site security, and ensure the farm is clean and presentable at all times * Monitor and report employee issues including attendance and timesheets * Liaise with the Area Manager to report progress, raise concerns, and implement improvements * Oversee any on-site contractors and ensure safe, quality work is delivered What We’re Looking For: * Strong background in stock management, ideally within the poultry or agricultural sector * Proven experience leading and managing a team * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and take initiative * Flexible with working hours – early starts, weekends, and evening work may be required * A commitment to high standards in welfare, hygiene, and safety What’s on Offer? * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Full-time, permanent position * Accommodation Provided (2x Bed Lodge, close to place of work) * Performance-based progression opportunities * Broiler Bonuses * Company pension scheme * On-site parking * Ongoing training & development, including industry-standard Poultry Passport certification This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced farm professional looking to step into a leadership role and make a real impact within a reputable, forward-thinking company.
