Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required in Essex GVR Solutions are currently representing a very well-established, forward thinking and multidisciplined main contractor, based in Essex, who due to positive increase in project workload after successfully winning new projects are in the market for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a main contractor they work on a range full turnkey, refurbishment and responsive repair contracts through Essex, Hertfordshire and London. * £50K - £60K package Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: * Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts * Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payments * Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting * Ensuring projects are commercially viable and compliant with contract requirements * Supporting project delivery teams with contractual and commercial advice Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor: * 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor * Experience working for a main contractor working on both new build and refurbishment projects * Proven experience working on projects of a similar value * Strong understanding of JCT contracts * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred) If you are interested in the above Quantity Surveyor opportunity, please get in touch
