Design Manager

LOCATION: Maidstone, Kent SALARY: £70,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance/company car, private healthcare, 26 days holiday THE COMPANY Our Client are a multi award winning Tier 1 Contractor, with a presence Nationwide, working across sectors to include Commercial, Education Healthcare, Residential and Retail. THE JOB The successfull applicant will be in charge of the Design and Delivery of the project and will be expected to deliver to an excellent standard, exceeding Client's expectations. Other duties are to include: * Responsibility of managing and delivery of the design information to align with the agreed design programme. * In charge of ensuring the design is compliant to relevant legislation and all technical requirements. * All other aspects of day to day Design Management duties included WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Technical knowledge within the construction industry and will have worked on project values between £5-£70 million * Experience within any of the following sectors: Commercial, Education, Lesiure, Healthcare, Residential, MOD and MOJ in a New build or Refurbishment capacity * Will have undertaken a Degree or have sufficient experience * Excellent understanding of Excel * Excellent planning and organisation skills * Good time management skills * Self-motivating * Evidence of maintaining a professional, consistent, and fair approach WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO * A basic salary of circa £70,000 - £90,000 * Company car allowance of approx £5000.00 * 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays * Generous pension contribution * Private Healthcare * Travel Expenses If you are interested in this opportunity hit “apply” or contact Bradley Sercombe at Xenon Recruitment today!
