Job Description

Technical Business Analyst (Product) London (Hybrid) Insurance Permanent We’re seeking a Technical Product Analyst with strong experience in insurance and a passion for delivering high-quality business systems solutions. You’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our internal and customer-facing applications, with a particular focus on Power Platform and SharePoint-based solutions. You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, working across Agile projects to support the development of new applications and enhancements to existing platforms. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements for new and existing applications. Analyse, refine, and translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications. Provide end-to-end product support, from ideation through delivery to post-launch enhancements. Work closely with development teams and product owners to deliver scalable and robust solutions. Deliver configuration and low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform(Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case creation, defect tracking, and stakeholder communication. Manage enhancement requests from the business, prioritising and delivering based on business value. Monitor application performance and user feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement. Apply Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Skills & Experience Previous experience in a technical or product analyst role within the insurance or financial services sector (London Market preferred). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Online Confident working in technology-focused environments and with development teams. Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks, ideally SAFe or Scrum. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate technical language for non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience in supporting UAT and managing post-deployment support. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Desirable Experience working on new application builds or transformation projects. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
