Electronic Design Engineer

Electronic Design Engineer – Defence Location – Hertfordshire (relocation package may be available) Salary – Up to £48,000 DoE, plus a comprehensive benefits package Hours / Working pattern – 37 hours, typically 2-3 days a week on site Copello are working with a leading organisation in the defence sector, recruiting for an Electronic Design Engineer to support the delivery of high-value, complex programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electronics professional with a background in analogue and digital design, looking to work across the full product lifecycle in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The Role As an Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Designing and developing board-level electronics, including schematic capture, prototyping, and functional testing Ensuring robust designs using techniques such as circuit simulation and DFMEA Supporting product development from feasibility through to production handover, including validation and quality assurance Collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electronics within products Contributing to research and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Experience in analogue and digital electronic design, development, and delivery Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Eligibility for, or current possession of, security clearance (British citizen or dual national with British citizenship)
