Legal Counsel (NQ-2)

A leading provider of professional education and training in the UK and internationally is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Law, you will provide expert legal advice across the organisation, focusing on commercial contracts (including IT agreements), bids and tenders, consumer law, intellectual property, and marketing. You will manage queries, deliver practical advice within SLAs, and support the mentoring of junior team members. The role involves close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to strategic objectives in a fast-evolving education sector. The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with NQ to 2 years PQE with demonstrable experience in commercial contracts. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage workloads and clients independently. Experience in bids/tenders, consumer law, intellectual property, or commercial litigation is advantageous, as is an interest in the education sector. Prior in-house experience is beneficial but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation in a hybrid role based in London.
