Mechanical Site Manager – Commercial MEP New Build (Cambridge) We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a reputable M&E contractor for an exciting commercial MEP new build project based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a fast-paced, technically challenging development, delivering high-quality mechanical services. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the on-site delivery of mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, and public health, ensuring alignment with the construction programme. • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour to maintain productivity and quality. • Ensure all mechanical installations meet specifications, deadlines, and comply with health and safety regulations. • Collaborate closely with the project manager and other discipline leads to facilitate smooth project execution. • Attend site meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and coordination needs. • Oversee quality control processes, snagging, and commissioning support activities. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial MEP projects. • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems and installation techniques. • Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification. • Current CSCS card. • Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills. • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. Desirable Qualifications: • NVQ Level 3 or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services. • First Aid at Work certification
