Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven freelance Site Manager to take a leading role in the construction of a state-of-the-art data centre. This is a technically demanding project, requiring excellent planning, coordination, and on-site leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all on-site activities from groundworks through to handover * Manage subcontractors, site operatives, and suppliers * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures * Monitor progress against programme and report updates to the project team * Coordinate with M&E teams, consultants, and the client * Conduct site inspections, manage snagging, and ensure quality control * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and logistics plans * Lead daily site briefings and toolbox talks Requirements * Demonstrable experience managing data centre, critical infrastructure projects or similar * SMSTS and CSCS * First Aid at Work certification * Strong knowledge of M&E coordination and structural works * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills * Ability to interpret drawings and specifications * Proficient in using MS Project, Excel, and site reporting tools Desirable Qualifications and Experience * Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management or related discipline * Experience working on live or highly serviced environments CIS payments available on a day rate
