Telehandler Driver

Role: Telehandler FLR Driver Area: PE6, Cambridgeshire Full time for a min of 3 months maybe longer Salary: DOE We At Interaction Recruitment seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our client in PE6 area in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move, lift, and place materials on a construction site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent commercial driving skills and the ability to dig when necessary. Responsibilities · Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site. · Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles. · Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. · Assist in digging tasks as required, demonstrating versatility in job functions. · Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations. · Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. · Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Experience · Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy machinery is preferred. · Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues. · Previous experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory. · A valid telehandler operator's licence is required. · Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
