The practice focuses on delivering exceptional personal tax practice services to a diverse client base across Coventry and Leamington Spa. Role Overview: As a Personal Tax Specialist, you’ll manage personal tax returns, offer expert advice, ensure compliance with HMRC rules, and help clients with tax planning; all within a busy accountancy practice. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and directors * Communicating with clients to gather financial information and provide personal tax advice * Developing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance * Ensuring all personal tax filings comply with HMRC regulations and deadlines * Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring timely service delivery * Advising on complex personal tax issues such as capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax reliefs * Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and procedures * Collaborating with corporate tax teams, auditors, and other specialists within the practice * Supporting clients during HMRC inquiries or investigations related to personal tax * Maintaining accurate and organized client tax records and documentation What We’re Looking For: * This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about personal tax within practice to develop and excel within a supportive and collaborative team environment. * The successful candidate will manage a portfolio where in-depth knowledge of personal tax within practice is essential. * Those with solid skills in personal tax within practice who want to make a tangible impact are encouraged to get in touch.
