Experienced Software Engineer Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team in Stevenage, working on Defence projects that require cutting-edge software solutions. Required Skills * Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on C++ and Ada * Experience in the Defence sector or a related industry is highly desirable * Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have Skills * Experience with agile development methodologies * Knowledge of defence-specific software development standards and regulations * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git * Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines Preferred Education and Experience * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field * At least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer * Experience working on Defence projects or in a related industry Other Requirements * Ability to commute to Stevenage on a 2/3 day a week basis * Must hold a current SC Clearance * Must be a British National
