Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Georgia

A health system is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. From the home of The Walking Dead to Georgia's largest state park, west Georgia has endless sights to see and explore! The facility is seeking ongoing coverage for OB call, specifically every Thursday from 7:00 AM to Friday at 7:00 AM, with an additional 12 weekend call shifts per month (Thursday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM). This is a 24-hour beeper call assignment. The role involves handling emergency C-sections, deliveries, and walk-ins only; all other cases are transferred to Carrollton. The facility averages 800 deliveries per year and is equipped with two Da Vinci robots and two dedicated OR spaces. Surgical volume per call shift typically ranges from 02 cases.
