Job Title: Debt Recovery Paralegal Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £36,000k Are you an experienced Debt Recovery Paralegal with a solid understanding of Scottish legal procedures and a proactive, client-focused approach? We’re working with a highly respected Scottish law firm that is looking to add a skilled Debt Recovery Paralegal to their established litigation team. Key Responsibilities: Handling a caseload of debt recovery matters from initial instruction through to enforcement. Drafting legal documents including court papers , letters before action , and settlement agreements. Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties. Monitoring and progressing cases in line with court deadlines and procedures. Advising clients on the debt recovery process under Scottish law . What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in debt recovery within a legal setting — ideally with Sheriff Court experience. A solid working knowledge of Scottish civil litigation procedures . Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A confident communicator who can manage client expectations with professionalism and clarity.
