Role: Senior Middle Office Analyst Type: Permanent Salary: up to £65,000 DOE Location: Central London (hybrid) A leading Energy & Commodities company who own one of the largest energy portfolios in the world are seeking a Senior Middle Office Analyst to join their P&L team. You will be responsible for P&L production, market risk and credit risk management. Responsibilities of the Senior Middle Office Analyst (Physical Commodities): Leading the production of daily P&L reports and consolidation of all trade book reports to ensure precision, consistency and integrity Raise queries to traders when proposed booking changes or business practices are unclear Support the finance team in month-end financial closing processes by explaining any provision requirements for the business Contribute to the leadership of the MO team including training, mentoring and coaching other MO team members Calculate the impacts of IR and FX on P&L whilst working with the treasury team to ensure the impacts are expected Requirements of the Senior Middle Office Analyst (Physical Commodities): Previous experience working in an energy or commodity trading environment The ability to work logically, quickly, and accurately while handling multiple tasks Experience effectively displaying and explaining analysis for management Adaptive approach to problem solving and the ability to work effectively as part of a culturally diverse team Must have worked P&L on physical commodities (eg. Energy, Power, Oil, LNG, Gas, Coal etc) This role is an urgent requirement and they will be looking to start the interviews asap, so please apply for immediate consideration!
