Job Description

Global Access Design Engineer UST are currently recruiting for a Global Access Design Engineer who will be responsible for driving high-impact identity governance initiatives for one of clients. About the role The successful candidate will lead the offshore access model design effort, engage in strategic integration projects, and act as a key SME for auditors, engineering teams, and compliance stakeholders. The role demands strategic thinking, deep technical knowledge in SailPoint and access governance, and leadership in a complex hybrid delivery model. Key Responsibilities: Lead design and continuous improvement of access models for business units and newly acquired entities. Guide the implementation of Zero Trust-aligned governance controls, including RBAC and risk-based access models. Own and review complex role analysis, redundancy elimination, and role standardization efforts. Act as the primary offshore interface for internal and external auditors, ensuring audit traceability and compliance readiness. Application onboarding to SailPoint, workflow enhancements, and performance optimizations. Provide leadership in SIEM and PAM integration projects, aligning design and compliance goals. Review and direct remediation activities resulting from compliance monitoring or audit findings. Contribute to UST’s AI-driven IAM strategy by piloting role recommendation engines and risk-based automation. Coach junior team members, enable knowledge transition, and enhance centralized documentation. Define and monitor self-service enablement strategies, including AI-augmented access request and review models. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in IAM, with specialization in Identity Governance and SailPoint IIQ. Proven experience in leading access model transformations and managing audit-facing functions. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO, GDPR) and experience handling multi-region audits. Solid background in role engineering, policy development, and risk-based controls. Experience driving tool integration initiatives with SIEM/PAM solutions. Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills.
