CLASS 2 DRIVER MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08:30 START TIMES £15.00 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Motherwell and the surrounding areas. Benefits As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee Well-being Program Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve having to: Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries Training Driving assessment must be passed Following the driving assessment, there will be a one day paid induction Industry related training and support throughout Contact This client values its workers and provides an excellent work environment If you are looking for high-paying, reliable work, click below to apply today or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
