Private Client Solicitor - Fee-Earning Location: Worthing, West Sussex Type: Permanent Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) Company Overview Join a well-established, client-centered law firm in Worthing with a strong reputation for exceptional client care and a supportive team environment Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload within private client practice: drafting wills, administering estates, probate, trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection work Deliver expert legal advice on inheritance tax, succession planning, estate administration, and related trusts Maintain fee-earning targets and accurate billing records, supporting financial performance Build business development through networking and proactive client outreach Client-facing engagement , often meeting elderly or vulnerable clients in their homes with empathy and professionalism Required Experience & Skills Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with minimum 3-5 years PQE in Private Client law (wills, probate, LPAs, trusts) Commercial mindset with a track record of meeting fee targets and contributing to revenue growth Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, especially with elderly or vulnerable clients STEP accreditation preferred (desirable, not essential) Confident in supporting and supervising junior team members.
