About the Company: A well-established and reputable general contractor specializing in Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction is seeking a skilled Site Superintendent with specific experience managing healthcare-related projects . Position Summary: The Site Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for ICI projects, with a strong emphasis on healthcare environments such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. The role requires deep knowledge of IPAC protocols , an ability to manage projects in occupied spaces , and exceptional leadership skills to drive successful delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities to ensure project goals are met on time and on budget. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site workers, and vendors to maintain efficiency and quality. Enforce strict compliance with all health & safety regulations , including infection prevention and control (IPAC) guidelines in active healthcare environments. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Maintain clear and professional communication with Project Managers, consultants, and clients. Conduct regular site meetings, manage documentation, and provide daily progress reports. Identify and resolve site issues to minimize disruptions and delays. Qualifications: 7 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction . Minimum 3 years of healthcare project experience (e.g., hospitals, medical clinics, long-term care facilities). Strong working knowledge of IPAC standards and best practices in live healthcare environments. Experience delivering projects in occupied buildings with minimal disruption to operations. Skilled in managing multiple trades and coordinating detailed construction schedules. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
