Millwright

We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join our client in the glass industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in their facility. The Millwright will work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with safety standards - Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise - Fabricate and weld parts as needed - Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve overall equipment efficiency - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work Qualifications: - Completion of a Trade Test - At least 3 years of experience working as a Millwright post apprenticeship in the Glass or Packaging industry - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals - Welding and fabrication experience is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are a skilled Millwright looking for a new opportunity with a reputable company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
