Certification Details LPC LCSW LMFT Job Details Position: Mental Health Coordinator Role involves planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility. Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements. Job Requirements Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required. Additional Details Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates. Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level. Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records for each person seen. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities for individuals in caseload. Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
