Job Description Job Description MyOutDesk, the world's 1 Virtual Assistant provider for nearly 20 years, is currently seeking a Director of Sales to join their leadership team. Based in Sacramento, California, MyOutDesk was founded in 2008, and has experienced significant growth while holding onto an entrepreneurial spirit that has fostered a dynamic internal culture. With a strategic vision aimed at expansion of providing Virtual Assistant services to additional industries, this position will actively develop short and long-term growth strategies, and oversee all Sales Growth, in addition to mentoring and growing the sales and marketing teams. Our Director of Sales serves the Organization in the following key areas: Walking the walk as a Sales Expert, modeling accountability within the company by meeting and exceeding key metrics and managing by objectives Creating and implementing standardized sales outreach and pipeline development, oriented towards growth, for current and future clients, coordinating implementation across sales channels, client management, and marketing and communications Prospecting and closing relationships with key target clients, both at the B2B C-suite enterprise level with the same savvy and care to SMBs and Entrepreneurs, and developing a team to do the same within the first six months of Leadership Monitoring the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success Driving a “lean startup” style environment of grit, agility, constant experimentation and learning while doing Leveraging customer research (quantity and quality) to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning Manages budget and pipeline effectively to zig and zag when curve balls arrive, while still staying on target Successful candidates will have: · Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible sales and business development experience Excellent relationship management skills, both internal and external Proven track record leading significant growth phases, ownership changes, mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions, preferably in a disruptive technology or service company, both for small, unknown brands and midmarket brands Strong competence with budgeting and forecasting; comfort level with public speaking Proven track record of sales growth tied to individual leadership & actions CRM Expertise – Salesforce preferred Willingness to travel – 20 to 25% expected We offer excellent compensation with a generous bonus schedule, full benefits, and a growth minded company culture along with the tools to achieve measurable results.
