Job Description Job Description Legal Services Alabama, Inc. (LSA), is one of the largest statewide law firms in Alabama. LSA provides free, client-centered civil legal advocacy to low-income Alabamians and collaborates with others across the state and nation to find solutions to systemic issues caused by poverty and social justice inequities. The Staff Attorney will provide legal representation in a broad range of civil matters, including housing, family law, consumer protection, and public benefits. While the position encompasses multiple practice areas, the primary focus will be on housing law. Qualifications: This position is an exciting opportunity for attorneys who are admitted to the Alabama Bar and who are passionate about serving low-income populations. Strong legal writing and communication skills are required. Preference is given to attorneys who are bilingual. Alabama recognizes reciprocity in certain states.
