Engineering Manager Location: Near Kirkham Industry: FMCG Manufacturing Shift: Monday to Friday Days Only Salary: £60,000 Benefits Are you an experienced Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer ready to step up into a leadership role? Our client, a successful FMCG manufacturing business based near Kirkham, is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers and drive performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the site. The Role: Lead and manage a small team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement Oversee engineering projects, installations, and improvement initiatives across the site Deliver and maintain a robust PPM strategy while responding efficiently to breakdowns Work closely with other departments to drive reliability and reduce downtime Be hands-on when needed to support urgent breakdowns or complex issues Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with food safety and compliance standards What Were Looking For: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Lead Engineer within a manufacturing environment Background in FMCG or food manufacturing is highly desirable Strong leadership and people management skills Experience managing projects, budgets, and external contractors Ability to remain hands-on when needed and lead by example Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or higher) Whats on Offer: Salary of £60,000 Monday to Friday day shifts no nights or weekends Autonomy to lead and shape the engineering function Supportive senior leadership team and a collaborative working culture Opportunity to work on capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives If you're ready to lead a talented team and play a key role in the future of a growing FMCG site, apply now or contact us for more information.
