HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver required for an ASAP start in Thame - 01905 20547 Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver for a permanent position working either day or night shifts for the following role. A HGV Class 1 Driver is required for an immediate start for a company that deals with palletised deliveries, they are based in Thame. Day shifts are Tuesday to Saturday with the requirement to cover 2 shifts: both covering 45 hours a week: 04:30 - 14:30 (90%) and 07:00 - 17:00 (10%) with Monday support given when required Night shifts are Monday to Friday with shift times as below; 18:30 and 06:30 with contracted Saturday morning overtime once per month 07:00 until 13:00 You will be required to attend an interview with the client and if successful will be offered a full time permanent position starting straight away. Our client will be accepting drivers who fit the below criteria; Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver - Palletised goods Offload using either forklift trucks or electric pallet trucks Some handball involved on delivery Day and night shifts available 10-12-hour days Successful at interview stage Speak to customers in a professional manner Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD DG codes) Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees. The ideal candidate will be - Reliable Able to work alone or in a team Have excellent time keeping 1 year experience minimum Pay rates - Between £34,000 and £37,000 per year (dependent on experience) What's in it for you?
