Group Finance Manager

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working in partnership with our Glasgow-based client to recruit a Group Finance Manager on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Finance Director, our client are providing a first class opportunity for a fully qualified (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) finance professional to contribute to the continued success of the business via robust financial direction alongside expert strategic leadership, forming a critical part of the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will receive a first class salary and benefits package and the opportunity to work for a business who are widely considered to be leaders in their operational areas. In this hands on role, you will lead the team with ultimate responsibility for reporting financial accounts, management accounts and other business information as required alongside financial reporting to enable strategic decision making whilst contributing on tax matters across the company. As the Group Finance Manager your responsibilities will include: Leadership and mentoring of a small finance department. Participate and contribute as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing financial voice from a spending perspective. Ownership of budgets and forecasts for the business and working alongside the Managing Director on business planning. All general accounting matters ranging from management and statutory reporting as outlined above alongside capital investment management. Continuously improving financial processes and procedures and perception of finance as an enabling feature of the business. Maintaining robust financial and management processes are adhered to at all times. Significant involvement in salaries, appraisals etc alongside HR. This role may well suit an experienced Accountant looking to utilise their skills within a fresh working environment however may also suit a dynamic Finance Manager who is looking to progress their career into this progressive post. You will possess excellent communication skills and a natural ability to communicate financial information to non-financial people and positively influence colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
