What will I be doing? As their Automation Technician , your role will be focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing advanced automation technologies introduced to a modern filling and packaging environment. You will enjoy a broad role that allows you to contribute across multiple aspects of equipment automation and plant optimisation. Your key responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and resolving issues in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Installing, commissioning, and supporting new automation equipment and technologies. Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining equipment data through CMMS systems. Upholding all safety regulations and contributing to a culture of operational excellence. Leading improvement initiatives and supporting the future automation strategy. To thrive in this role, you will have: An HNC/HND in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering. Practical experience working with manufacturing or industrial automation equipment. Solid understanding of automation and safety systems, including PLCs (Siemens S7 preferred). Familiarity with CMMS and SAP systems. Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
