PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician – Contract Department: NUCLEAR MEDICINE PET Schedule Options: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Position Summary Seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician for a contract role at one of our offsite facilities. The technician will be responsible for all aspects of the nuclear medicine lab operations, including patient education, testing, and procedure execution. This position plays a key role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging services and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards. Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment; conduct daily quality control checks. Educate patients and their families about procedures to ensure understanding and comfort. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required. Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting any unusual reactions. Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures and patient interactions. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
