Now Hiring: Nightshift Despatch Administrator – Join the Heron Foods Distribution Team in Melton (HU14 3HJ)! Are you an experienced Administrator , Transport Clerk , Logistics Coordinator , or Data Entry Clerk looking for a nightshift-based role in a fast-paced environment? Heron Foods is recruiting a Despatch Administrator (Nights) to join our distribution centre team at Melton (HU14 3HJ) , near Hull. If you're organised, tech-savvy, and ready to play a vital role in getting our goods to stores across the UK, this could be the opportunity for you. Shift & Salary Details Hours : 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Shift Pattern : 5 out of 7 days, two-week rolling rota Salary : £27,540 per annum What You'll Be Doing As a Nightshift Despatch Administrator, you'll support our overnight logistics operation, ensuring store orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered on time. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating shop order processing and dispatch during night shifts Issuing loading tickets, dispatch notes, and allocating vehicles for delivery routes Resolving logistical issues such as delivery rerouting or vehicle maintenance problems Communicating with store teams about delivery times and order status Supporting loading and picking teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency Using internal systems (including Excel and transport software) to keep operations running smoothly ? This is a key role for someone who enjoys a structured environment, is comfortable with admin processes, and thrives on working as part of a night team.
