Our client, a leading company in the aerospace industry are currently seeking a Buyer to join their team Hamble-Le-Rice on a contract basis. Role: Buyer Duration: Up to 6 months Location: Hamble-Le-Rice, Hampshire Start: ASAP This role is essential for the execution of day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring an optimum supply chain, managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Executing day-to-day purchasing activities Managing purchase orders and supplier relationships Responsible for managing subcontract materials Maintaining a process-oriented approach with high attention to detail Attend and lead meetings both internally and with suppliers as the business requires. Key Experience: Experience working within aerospace or manufacturing environments Understanding of MRP/ERP systems, particularly purchasing or planning functionality Background in resolving conflicts with suppliers Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers Perseverance, resilience, and drive.
