Your Role and Responsibilities Plan, install, configure, and implement z/OS Install, migrate, monitor, secure, and enable z/OS Ensure continuous availability of z/OS during planned or unplanned outages Manage z/OS service upgrades and patches Optimize z/OS performance through configuration changes Create and deploy z/OS operating systems Provide technical support to IBM infrastructure programmers and end users Participate in rotating 24x7 on-call and weekend support Maintain documentation for end users Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical and Professional Expertise IT degree or relevant certifications, or substantial experience 3-5 years as a z/OS systems programmer Experience with z/OS, UNIX System Services, SMP/E, TCP/IP, RACF, JCL, ISPF, SMS, z/OSMF, and related components Programming skills in REXX, JSON, Python Knowledge of SYSPLEX, IODF, IOCDS, FICON, CATALOG, control units, and z/OS best practices Experience with Jira and change management tools Familiarity with IBM mainframe technologies including zCX Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Encourage focus on required skills and experience.
