Job Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required License: Pending license accepted at manager's discretion Certifications: BLS, ARRT required Must-Have: Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU required. Experience with PACS, C-Arm, contrast, and biopsies required. Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, Abdomen, pelvis, and upper/lower extremities required. Ability to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils required. Ability to use micro catheters and micro wires required. Ability to use Snare Kits required. Ability to use injector systems is preferred. Epic experience is required. Description: Position available for an Interventional Radiology Technician. Shift schedule is four 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekend call rotation is required, averaging 10 days per month. First-time travelers are accepted. RTO needs to be submitted with the application. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week, subject to low census/cancellation. Orientation consists of 12 hours and is non-billable. Candidates must be clean-shaven for fit testing. Travelers must complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to start. All clinicians cannot work past one year as travelers and must take a six-month break to return. Additional requests or changes to RTO after confirmation are at the manager's discretion.
