Job Title: SEN Teacher - Secondary PRU Area: Wimbledon, Merton Start Date: September, Interview NOW Contract Type: Temp to Perm Salary: (Apply online only) per day Brief description: Pupil Referral Unit seeks resilient SEN teacher to support secondary boys with SEMH and additional needs. About the school: A specialist PRU supporting boys aged 11-16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, focused on reintegration and personal development. About the role: You will deliver structured and supportive lessons in a small group setting, helping pupils re-engage with education and build essential skills. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: Deliver adapted lessons for pupils with SEN and SEMH Build trust and strong relationships with students Maintain a calm, consistent, and positive classroom Work closely with pastoral teams, therapists, and parentsRequirements - The ideal candidate would have: QTS or relevant teaching qualification Experience with SEMH or PRU settings Strong behaviour management skills A trauma-informed and empathetic approachOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
