Technical Sales Representative - Biological

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture AVCASA / BASOS certification with practical experience of crop protection will be advantageous Minimum 3-5 years experience in agricultural sales and marketing as well as technical expertise Knowledge of the export fruit industry value chain and the influence of phytosanitary pests, plant diseases and maximum residual levels in this industry is essential Must have proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word etc., and GIS skills are an advantage) Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (Read, Write, and Speak) Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel extensively The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing business activities in the market and helping execute strategies for the designated areas. Pursuing annual sales targets set for key distribution agents, customers, crops, and varieties, while assisting in the introduction of new products into the designated areas. Handling administration tasks, including area budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and supporting sales operations such as depot and stock management and documentation. Managing relationships with agents and industry stakeholders and growing the agent network. Conducting in-orchard applications of specific products.
