HR Assistant

Job Title: HR Assistant/HR Administrator Company: International Engineering Organisation Location: Vicenza (province) Salary: up to €35,000p.a. Are you a proactive and organised Human Resources and Personnel professional with strong communication skills in both Italian and English? We're looking for an HR Administrator/HR Assistant to join a well-established engineering business based in Vicenza (province), supporting a local workforce of around 200 employees. The Company A well-established specialist engineering business based near Vicenza, Italy. They have recently been through an exciting acquisition and have joined forces with a UK based global leader in the energy field. The site plays a critical role in supporting the expansion of the business offering, with increased production capacity and a strengthened supply chain forming part of a wider strategic growth plan. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key point of contact for HR-related queries at a local level while working closely with a UK-based HR team to ensure consistent and aligned HR processes across the business. What you will be responsible for Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day Human Resources and Personnel queries from employees and managers. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation. Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Liaise with the UK HR team to ensure local practices align with group policies and procedures. Support the delivery of HR projects and initiatives as required What do we need from you? Previous experience in a similar HR administration or HR assistant role. Fluent in Italian and English - written and spoken. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Confident communicator with a people-first approach. Ability to work from the site in Vicenza (province) Familiarity with local Italian employment law and HR practices is beneficial.
