Phaxis is seeking a qualified Contract School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in schools located near Elizabeth, CO for the current academic year. Position Details: Title: Contract School-Based Occupational Therapist Location: Near Elizabeth, CO Caseload: Provide occupational therapy services to support students in special education programs Schedule: 37.5 - 40 hours per week (schedule to be determined based on district needs) Duration: 25/26 School Year Pay Range: $45-$55/hr Responsibilities: Provide and coordinate occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEP mandates. Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to improve their fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines. Engage with parents, guardians, and community partners to establish a supportive network for students. Maintain accurate, timely documentation (session notes, progress reports, reviews, etc.). Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing student well-being. Ensure compliance with all federal and state occupational therapy regulations.
