Job Description
We’ve partnered with a growing commodity trading firm that is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator for their London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-evolving business focused on the sourcing and export of high-quality agricultural commodities. Reporting directly to the Head of Commodities Trading, this role offers strong exposure across the business and a chance to play a key part in supporting the trading function with logistics operations. Key responsibilities include: • Liaising with internal teams and external partners including freight forwarders, agents and warehouse providers • Coordinating end-to-end logistics for physical commodity trades, from contract confirmation through to delivery • Managing transport bookings across sea, rail, road, or air freight • Overseeing and verifying key shipping and customs documentation • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and incoterms • Tracking shipments and proactively resolving any issues or delays • Supporting finance with invoicing and reconciliation processes • Helping to improve and streamline logistics systems and procedures You should apply if you have: • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations—ideally within commodities, trading, or freight forwarding • A strong understanding of shipping documentation and global trade flows • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Familiarity with incoterms and international shipping practices If you're looking to join a collaborative team in a business where your work has direct commercial impact, this is a great opportunity to get involved at an exciting stage of growth.
