Quality Control Inspector

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a five star Regional House Builder who are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in the Hampshire area. The salary is up to £47,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus a Fantastic Benefits Package and Car Allowance You will be reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager Key Responsibilities required for this position include: * Undertake targeted key stage inspections of each new build home as directed by the Quality Control Manager. * Prepare and issue quality control reports using “i-auditor inspection platform”and follow those reports to conclusion. * Visual inspection of each key stage as follows, and preparation of reports backed up with photographic evidence:- * Oversite, including dimensional accuracy checks. * Pre-plaster * Pre-paint * Final quality inspection, pre-occupation * Liaison with sub-contractors and site management teams to iron out repeat defects. * Distribution of the reports to each stake holder * Follow up of the reports to ensure items are “closed down” * Reporting directly to the QC Manager any identified items which may cause a latent defect * Attend meetings with out departments of the business and liaise with them directly when necessary Key Skills & Experience required for the position include: * 3 year’s experience working on a housebuilding development * ONC in Construction or NVQ Level 4 in Construction or Equivalent * Computer Literate * Strong understanding of building materials, methods, and general construction principles. * Exceptional attention to detail * Ability to build relationshipsn with management, supervisors and tradesmen * CSCS Card * Full UK Driving License * Right to work in the UK If you are interested then please apply now alternatively contact Jess Angel on the contact details below
