Job Title: Site Manager Location: Barrow - in - Furness UK (Public Sector Projects) Salary: Competitive Benefits Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the delivery of public sector construction projects in Barrow - in - Furness. You will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Monitor project progress and report to senior management Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities Maintain accurate site records and documentation Drive quality assurance and ensure adherence to project specifications Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on public sector or similar projects SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve issues on-site Full UK driving licence
