Job Description

REQUIREMENTS Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent required Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Transport Management, or Administration is an advantage. 12 years of experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet administration environment preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English. Familiarity with systems like Datatim and C-Track advantageous. Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to maintain up-to-date and well-organized records (e.g., driver documentation, vehicle files, equipment logs). Professional and courteous with a customer-service mindset. Proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Willingness to follow up and ensure completion of tasks such as claims processing and insurance collection. DUTIES Capturing load information on transport system called Datatim. Maintaining information on tracking system (C-Track). Keeping record of drivers license and PDP expiry dates and reminding them on time have it renewed. Collecting proof of insurance from subcontractors monthly. Assist with documenting and resolving queries from customers and subcontractors. Maintain roadworthy and vehicle license files. Register and follow-up on goods in transit claims as well as third party claims. Create diesel orders and communicate same with drivers.
