Job Description

Key Responsibilities Payroll & Time and Attendance Process payroll, commissions, and leave on Sage VIP Administer Uniclox time and attendance system Run monthly payroll reports and resolve payroll-related queries Support and manage ESS (Employee Self Service) queries Onboarding & Offboarding Draft employment contracts and facilitate onboarding documentation Process terminations, including UIF, provident fund withdrawals, and final documentation Ensure proper file management and timely submission to payroll Disciplinary & Industrial Relations (IR) Issue warnings and conduct counselling sessions Organise disciplinary hearings and manage external chairpersons Maintain IR documentation and provide guidance to line managers General HR Administration Maintain up-to-date employee records (digital and physical) Submit SAF claims, IOD reports, and HR communications Administer HR functions on BMW Dealernet and ensure data accuracy Management Support Serve as the on-site HR contact, offering advice on employee relations Ensure dealership HR operations align with legislative and group standards Assist with HR audits, compliance checks, and reporting Minimum Requirements: Matric Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field 23 years experience in a generalist HR role within a motor dealership (120 staff) Strong payroll admin background, including Sage VIP and Uniclox Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership platforms Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, MIBCO Main Agreement Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities Added Advantages: HR experience in the motor industry Understanding of SAF, ESS , and incentive structures Familiarity with MIBCO and bargaining council procedures
